Bryan is an Associate Director for the Credit Union Investment Strategy Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) in the East Lansing, MI office. The group of fixed-income professionals provides comprehensive investment strategies to help credit unions nationally meet their financial objectives. Bryan holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations.
Bryan’s primary responsibilities include leading the credit union group’s marketing and business development efforts. Bryan works with the senior partners of the group to formulate and implement investment strategies tailored to the individual credit union’s needs. He also assists the group in credit union and investment analysis, relationship management, hosting educational forums, and presenting at conferences/luncheons across the country.
Bryan joined the Credit Union Investment Strategy Group in 2018 from Mercantile Bank of Michigan, where he was a Commercial Loan Specialist. In this position, he was the central liaison between the lenders and analysts, responsible for maintaining appropriate LTV ratios, releasing collateral as needed, and working with analysts to ensure financials are in place for underwriting.
Bryan lives in East Lansing, MI, with his wife, Samantha, and their son, Peyton. Bryan’s passions include spending time with his family, playing golf, watching the Michigan State Spartans and Indianapolis Colts, and spending time down south – typically at Walt Disney World. Bryan aspires to give back to the community, be a mentor for young professionals, and coach Football and/or Track & Field.
