​In this rapidly evolving space, credit unions are in a prime position to engage with these campus groups. The session will delve into innovative strategies that can effectively foster financial literacy and tap into underserved or untapped audiences across high schools, colleges, and universities.

This session offers insights from both a financial wellness provider (iGrad) and a credit union's (USFFCU’s) perspective, focusing on how credit unions can leverage opportunities to promote financial empowerment among high school and university students, athletes, and employees.

Leveraging knowledge of academic culture, team dynamics, and educational engagement, iGrad will walk attendees through the intricacies of collaboration outlining key tactics to design and market financial literacy programs that resonate with today’s students. Attendees will also learn how to craft compelling messaging, utilize social media, tap into peer influence, and incorporate gamification to engage these audiences.

We will also highlight the remarkable success of the University of KY who assisted over 7,200 students collectively save and invest over $1 million within 12 months, explaining how initiatives like these offer credit unions opportunity to play a role in sponsorship and support while attracting student members.
